Hi Hdawood,

That would depend on what switch type you want to acquire the license for (EX/QFX). Taking for example an EX4300. The EFL (Enhanced Feature License) will provide the following features:

BFD, Connectivity Fault Management, IGMP, MSDP, OAM, CFM, OSPFv2/v3, RPM, RIPng, RPF, Virtual Router and VRRP.

An Advanced feature license (AFL) will provide the following features:

BGP, IS-IS, EVPN-VXLAN (EX4300MP only).

The licenses are separated, and depending on the feature set you need, you will have to acquire one or both. Here is a link that describes this in detail: https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/release-independent/licensing/topics/topic-map/understan...

Here is another link that explains premium licenses for the QFX platforms: https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/release-independent/licensing/topics/topic-map/software_...

I would recommend checking the links above to verify what features are the ones you actually need and the licenses for it.

Please mark my post as the solution if it solved your question. Kudos are always appreciated!
